Cypress Direct Capital LLC started as Wholesale Lending Associates in 2007 in the midst of the tremendous changes in both the banking and commercial lending world.  Our success for our clients comes from the combined 50 years of experience among our staff of professionals.

In today’s commercial lending space, there is a new trend taking place to address the vacuum left in banking with the demise of traditional lending.  An extraordinary paradigm shift is occurring in the commercial financing sector as private lenders with billions of dollars to invest are moving aggressively to replace the investment banking community.

As one of the managing members of CDC, John guides the operation of getting a file closed successfully. He is able to help with every aspect of  a client's commercial lending needs.  His business career spans many areas in commercial project development as well as personnel training and coaching. 

John has been at the highest level of different corporate management teams teaching a standard of excellence to his staffs. 

John also supports and loves KC Royals baseball and of course, Patrick Mahomes and the World Champions KC Chiefs!

Michael Griffin 

Chief Financial Officer

As one of the principal owner of CDC, Michael has been involved in financing large commercial projects including Pharmaceutical Companies, Sports Complexes,  Small Airlines, Bio-Diesel Plants, Multi-unit Apartment Complexes, Shopping Centers, Hotels, Auto Dealerships and more.

 As a graduate of Texas Tech University he participated in both the university baseball and football programs.  He is still involved and an active participate in the year round MSBL (Men's Senior Baseball League) and holds 5 World Series rings from the league.  These national men's baseball teams play in the spring training stadiums in Phoenix, Arizona in October each year.
